Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom, also known as Eno Barony has disclosed how her Church prayed against her musical career.
Eno was raised in a home that strongly emphasized Christianity, and as a result, her career choice was strongly despised.
Her photo was even shown to the congregation, who prayed against her particular skill because they believed it was not of God.
She said that members of her church thought she was possessed and that her music was evil in an interview with Asieduwaa Akumia on Prime Morning.
She recalled that her music would not work and that nothing would go right for her. “I remember they put my picture in the church and prayed over it,” she said.

She said that everything is good between her and the family, especially with her father.
She remarked, “We’re cool, but it wasn’t easy at first since convincing my parents that their daughter wants to be a rapper”
The rap artist then went on to describe how she left her home to seek a career in music.
I was first hiding it, she said. I initially concealed it. I kept it a secret until I was unable to do so any longer since I was always in the media. I could do nothing but leave the house.
She wanted to be a rapper despite being unable to listen to secular music at home and was greatly influenced by Mzbel and Abrewa Nana.
“Don’t Judge Me,” a new song by Eno Barony, features Daniel Duncan Williams, better known as Deewillz, the son of Archbishop Duncan Williams.
