Ghanaian music producer Kwame Mickey has announced the resolution of the dispute over Team Eternity Ghana’s incorporation of the ‘Defe Defe’ lyrics in their latest song.
OFM Company, speaking on his behalf, confirmed that both parties have reached a mutually beneficial agreement, effectively ending the disagreement over the lyrics.
In a statement, it was stated that
“the parties have signed a license agreement, granting Team Eternity Ghana the non-exclusive right to use the lyrics from the original song in their new track.”
This development comes after Kwame Mickey accused Team Eternity Ghana of copyright infringement, alleging unauthorised use of the ‘defe defe’ line in their latest song.
