Mr Logic Granted GH¢400,000 Bail With Three Sureties

At the Dansoman Circuit Court, Mr. Logic privately known as Christopher Nelson, has been granted bail amounting to GH¢400,000 alongside three sureties.

This decision comes in response to accusations of fraud levelled against him by Khori Edward Lewis.

According to the Chief Inspector of the complaint, on May 2023, Mr. Logic allegedly promised Khori Edward Lewis and his family a residency permit through.

Lewis reportedly paid $21,000.00 and GH¢48,000 for this service, but Mr. Logic purportedly failed to fulfil his commitment, leading Lewis to seek police intervention.

Despite repeated requests for cooperation in the investigation, Mr. Logic reportedly did not engage with authorities.

Presiding Judge Halimah El-Alawa Abdul Basit subsequently charged Mr. Logic with defrauding by false pretence, imposing stringent bail conditions.

These include surrendering his passport to the court registry, regular reporting to the police every two weeks, and securing three sureties, among whom two must be public servants earning no less than GH¢2,000 and residing within the court’s jurisdiction.
