Media personality Mona Gucci, Kumchacha, Afia Pokua, and representatives from Media General recently visited Otumfour Osei Tutu II to apologise for their derogatory comments regarding Asanteman.
In a viral video, Afia Pokua, a guest on Mona Gucci’s show, defended the Bono people and criticised the Asantehene for his perceived silence during conflicts involving his subjects and other tribes.
In contrast, Mona Gucci did not prompt her to retract those statements, which led to significant public backlash.
Consequently , the group sought to make amends at the Manhyia Palace, but the elders ultimately rejected their apologies.
