The Minority in Parliament celebrated after the Court of Appeal acquitted their leader, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, in the ambulance trial.
During the trial, the Court of Appeal acquitted the leader of the Minority in Parliament, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson with a 2-1 verdict.
The decision, which followed an appeal of Dr Forson’s no-case submission, ended a nearly two-year legal battle.
A viral video captured the minority celebrating as Dr Forson entered the chamber whereas Former Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu praised the judiciary and urged the Attorney General not to appeal.
