Middle Aged Woman Found Dead After Abandoned

Written by Sarah Boye

A shocking video trending online alleges that an ambulance from Winneba Government Hospital abandoned a woman, aged between 45 and 50, in the bush at Gomoa Ojobi.

Reports claim the woman, with both legs in plaster of Paris, remained in the bush for three days before passing away.

Eyewitnesses in Gomoa Ojobi reported that an ambulance from Winneba Government Hospital dropped the woman off, and the village assumed the ambulance would return for her.

However, the ambulance never returned, and the woman stayed there for several days before passing away.

A follow-up inquiry at Winneba Government Hospital confirmed the incident.

The doctor in charge admitted that the hospital had left the woman there, hoping her relatives would find her and take her home.

He explained that the woman had been involved in an accident on the Gomoa Ojobi highway, and while all other victims had been discharged, no relatives came to visit or discharge her.

Also, due to the mental health issues she developed following the accident and the trouble she was causing at the hospital, they decided to leave her at the accident site so her family could locate her.
