All children who enroll in Michael Blackson’s new school in Ghana’s Central Region’s Agona Nsaba have receive free uniforms.
After enrolling its initial group of pupils, the institution has already begun classes.
A video that has appeared online shows several students parading at the school’s grounds during an assembly.
Excited Michael Blackson posted about his proud moment on social media and reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the school’s success. He tweeted, “What a fantastic first day of school at the Michael Blackson Academy.”
He added that “Day 2 at Michael Blackson Academy” in a subsequent post. The boys’ uniforms arrived today, whereas the girls’ did so yesterday. For the first year, I’m starting from kindergarten through GS3, which is third grade, since I want the students to develop at the school. Each year, we advance one grade. two instructors every class.
He made the joke that “on the first day of lunch at my school the kids ate Ghana jollof, tomorrow I’ll have them try Naija jollof, but I’ll also have a medical staff on board just in case.”
