Merqury Quaye, a Ghanaian disc jockey and event host, has warned event planners to pay MCs more fairly.
Merqury advised Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z that Ghanaians who use MCs’ services should treat them well, as is customary in other nations.
“I think that today’s activity will encourage many event planners and encourage people to pay MCs more. Guess what, Kwame, I asked how much my colleague from Ohio received from the NFA Draft Day and they answered 30,000 dollars. You may ask me how much I received.
As a result, I believe that this [program] genuinely aids in understanding, and we want to have more. Please pay us more, Merqury Quaye pleaded, “because the MCs also deserve to buy the homes like our counterparts in the US and Nigeria are doing.
