President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Bawku to address the region’s ongoing conflict highlighting his commitment to working to find lasting solutions.
Reports indicate he will begin his visit by meeting with Bawku Naaba, Zug-raan Asigri Abugrago Azoka II, the paramount chief of the Kusaug Traditional Area.
Further, he will then meet the overlord of the Mamprugu Traditional Area together with local leaders and stakeholders.
These engagements in prospect is to address pressing security concerns and reaffirm his administration’s dedication to restoring peace and promoting development in Bawku.
