Mahama Pledge Accountability For Pwalugu Dam Mismanagement

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Mahama has vowed to hold accountable those responsible for the financial mismanagement of the Pwalugu Dam project if elected.

In a media briefing in Bolgatanga, Mahama revealed that the project had consumed $12 million with no progress made.

He said

“The Pwalugu multipurpose dam, intended to address frequent floods in the Upper East Region by 2019, remains unfinished.

Mahama further assured his commitment to completing the project and criticized the current administration’s handling of its funding.
