Mahama Appoints Key Officials To Strengthen National Security

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed several key officials to strengthen national security and safeguard citizens. 

In a statement from Felix Ofosu Kwakye, the Acting Spokesperson to the President, Mahama announced Prosper Douglas Bani as the new National Security Advisor. Bani, a former Chief of Staff and Minister for the Interior, brings vast experience in governance and security to the role.

Further, DCOP Abdul-Osman Razak will serve as the National Security Coordinator, tasked with ensuring a cohesive and strategic approach to the country’s security efforts.

COP Nathan Kofi Boakye (Rtd.) has been name Director of Operations at the Presidency. Boakye, known for his decades of service and operational expertise, will oversee security operations at the presidential level.

Additionally Charles Kipo has also been choose Director General of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB), where he will focus on intelligence gathering and analysis to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
