President John Dramani Mahama has announced a new set of nine ministerial nominees, aligning with his governance priorities as he reshapes his administration.
In a statement, President John Dramani Mahama revealed his new ministerial appointments, with several key leaders set to steer critical sectors. Former Minority Leader in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu, will head the Ministry of Education. Kwame Agbodza has been name to lead the Ministry of Roads and Highways, while Eric Opoku, a seasoned rural development expert, will serve as Minister for Food and Agriculture, focusing on boosting food security and supporting farmers.
Additionally, NDC Youth Organiser Opare Addo has been choose Minister for the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment. Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare will lead the Ministry of Trade and Agribusiness, working to strengthen trade relations and promote agribusiness.
Moreover, Ahmed Ibrahim will take charge of the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, while Agnes Naa Momo Lartey is to head the Ministry of Gender.
Finally Dzifa Gomashie will lead the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, and Emelia Arthur will oversee the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture.
