All People’s Congress (APC) presidential contender Hassan Ayariga has accused former President John Dramani Mahama of copying his ideas in a current dispute that has swept through the political landscape.
According to Ayariga, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential contender for 2024, John Dramani Mahama, pilfered his noteworthy policy concept from his 2020 manifesto—the 24-Hour Economy Production, a three-shift system for firms and businesses. One of Ayariga’s main points in his 2020 manifesto was the policy of the 24-hour economy.
He claims Mahama stole the concept and passed it off as his own while serving as president.
By permitting companies and industries to run around the clock, the policy seeks to maximize production and create additional job opportunities, thus promoting economic growth.
Hassan Ayariga, who has been critical of the purportedly stolen idea, expressed dissatisfaction with the previous president’s conduct.

It’s unclear whether Mr. Mahama will face legal action because of the enduring charges or if this incident will have a major effect on his political destiny. There are a lot of rumors going around in Ghanaian politics right now regarding what might happen to the former president and how it would affect the next elections.
Ghanaians are eagerly awaiting further information and updates from both sides as the situation plays out.
Mahama has a history of appropriating concepts from his rivals, especially the NPP. It was purportedly from the NPP that he had taken slogans and policy concepts.
