Lil Win Expresses Disappointment Over Public Reaction To His Car Accident

Written by Sarah Boye

Ghanaian actor Lil Win has voiced his profound disappointment with the reactions of Ghanaians to his recent car accident.

In an interview, he criticised the social media and television reports, calling them heartbreaking. Lil Win claimed that the media depicted the incident as if it were a deliberate act on his part.

He clarified that the accident was unintentional, explaining that a car malfunction and poor road conditions contributed to it.

“Who would want to risk their life and destroy their car? I had no intention of causing harm to myself or others. Cars can malfunction, and road conditions play a role,” Lil Win said.

The actor lamented that the public narrative painted him as though he had malicious intent, saying,

“They made it seem like I deliberately targeted a child.” I was seriously injured in the accident, nearly losing my life as I vomited blood the night after the incident. “

Despite being a public figure and a victim, he felt that Ghanaians did not show him the sympathy and understanding he expected.
