Legend Ghanaian Rapper, Kwaw Kwese has taken to his social media page to lament over the unpayable Ghanaian music industry
According to him, he has never received a penny from the royalty collection body since he indulged mainstream music for the past 20 years.
According to Kwaw Kesse, its very daring to make fortune from music making in Ghana.
He laments that musicians have to pay for publicity and airplay but receives nothing from the GAMRO.
He writes “20 years of doing music in Ghana and never got paid of any royalties”.
The musician continues to say that “You’ll rather have to pay Djs to play your songs, pay TV to show your videos, pay blogger and press media to blog your content and gives you press”.
In his lamentation, Kwaw quizzed his followers “How can you survive this industry by financing all these by yourself?”
