President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has officially resigned as President of the West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B.
According to him, he took the decision to focus fully on his new role as 2nd Vice-President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), which he recently assumed.
Further, Okraku expressed confidence in the leadership of WAFU Zone B, saying he believes capable individuals are ready to sustain and advance the bloc’s development.
By stepping down, he aims to devote the necessary attention to his expanded responsibilities at CAF while continuing to lead the GFA effectively.
