Chance The rapper and his wife, Kirsten Corley, two well-known Americans, announced their divorce.
The couple said they came to the decision after a period of separation in a joint statement that was posted on the rapper’s Instagram account on Wednesday.
They will share legal custody of their girls, the statement said.
“After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.
“God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together,” the statement partly read.
While they were still dating in 2015, the couple welcomed Kensil into their lives as their first child together.
After splitting up in 2016, they got back together in 2018 and tied the knot in March 2019.
They declared the arrival of their second daughter, Marli, in September 2019.
