KNUST Student To Break World Record With longest Video Game

A student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST),Vanessa Azoumaro has embarked on an ambitious quest to set a Guinness World Record for the longest video game marathon playing the Ghost of Tsushima series.

Initially aiming for 48 hours, Vanessa surpassed her goal and played for an impressive 56 hours, 30 minutes, and 43 seconds.

She completed her attempt at exactly 5:30 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Airport View in Kumasi SG Mall, where friends and supporters cheered her on.

A dedicated monitoring team supported the third-year social work student to ensure the integrity of her attempt. She now waits for the Guinness World Record team to verify and confirm her record.
