The renowned Ghanaian showbiz pundit, Mr. Logic, has thrown his weight behind Kennedy Agyapong as the ideal candidate to challenge Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The outspoken pundit made his endorsement during a lively discussion on the popular television show “United Showbiz.”
Mr. Logic’s endorsement comes with a resounding vote of confidence in Kennedy Agyapong’s commitment to the betterment of Ghana. The showbiz pundit asserted that Agyapong’s dedication to the nation’s progress sets him apart as a true leader who has the country’s best interests at heart. According to Mr. Logic, Ghanaians are yearning for a leader who not only possesses political acumen but also genuinely cares about the welfare of the citizens.
In his fervent endorsement, Mr. Logic did not mince words. He firmly conveyed, “The delegates don’t need anyone to tell them that Ken is the best bet for the NPP. If Ken doesn’t win the primaries, NPP will lose the main elections. If NPP doesn’t elect Ken to contest Mahama, then they should be ready for doom. They will lose outright.”
Highlighting the significance of Agyapong’s potential candidacy, Mr. Logic stated that Ghana’s current state necessitates a leader who possesses a deep understanding of the nation’s challenges and opportunities, and who is driven to address the concerns of the populace. He emphasized that the citizenry yearns for a president who embodies their values and aspirations.
Mr. Logic’s endorsement gained further momentum as he delved into Kennedy Agyapong’s innovative approach to promoting patriotism. He commended Agyapong’s plan to rally musicians to record a song that celebrates Ghana’s spirit and fosters unity. According to Mr. Logic, Agyapong’s emphasis on the power of music to influence societal thinking and behavior reveals his genuine commitment to the arts and the role they play in shaping a nation’s identity.
Addressing Agyapong’s vision to collaborate with musicians for a patriotic anthem, Mr. Logic expressed, “Ken said music plays a role in the way people think and behave in a society, and after chancing on those statements, I concluded that he is solid. He has a heart for the arts. He said he will bring musicians together to do a heroic song and I think that should be the first step because now, a lot of people are confused.”
Kennedy Agyapong’s intentions for his potential presidency were previously unveiled in an interview with Umaru Sanda. He articulated his plan to unite Ghanaian musicians to record a song that encompasses various genres, aiming to evoke a sense of national pride and discipline. Agyapong’s proposed initiative resonated with Mr. Logic, who sees it as a step towards clarifying and strengthening Ghana’s collective identity.
