A fan who approached famous American singer Kanye West for an autograph has filed a lawsuit against him, alleging abuse and battery. The autograph seeker claimed that the incident happened in 2022 at DTLA, according to TMZ.
The musician allegedly repeatedly struck the man, seriously wounding him, and then allegedly said, “Apology for what?” to the man’s demands for an apology.
He alleged that when one of Kanye’s companions attempted to break up the altercation, he yelled back, “Go to the fucking house and get my fucking kids.”
“Kanye screamed, ‘I’m going to make a fucking example of you’, before hitting me with a punch to the face.”
The man is seeking damages, saying that after the assault, he experienced emotional distress.
In addition, his wife is suing Kanye West for loss of consortium, claiming that the incident caused her to lose her husband’s company.
