Spokesperson for John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, has steadfastly defended the NDC flagbearer against allegations by The Daily Dispatch, stressing his integrity.
In a statement released today, Mogtari condemned claims that Mahama’s appointees spent over $8 million on luxury properties in Dubai, dismissing them as attempts to tarnish his reputation.
Accusing Ben Ephson of turning a blind eye to corruption in the current Akufo-Addo administration, Ms. Mogtari labelled the report as part of a coordinated effort to distract from issues of state capture.
She asserted that these accusations, propagated by Ephson and the NPP, are designed to divert public attention and slander Mahama.
Ms Mogtari emphasised that such tactics will not diminish Mahama’s established reputation, affirming his exoneration from ongoing smear campaigns.
Additionally, Ms Mogtari reiterated Mahama’s dedication to reclaiming the presidency and implementing a robust economic revitalization agenda for Ghana.
