The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress John Dramani Mahama has urge Ghanaians to resist being influence by the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) upcoming manifesto.

Speaking at a community engagement in Juapong, Mahama accuses the NPP of being a government full of lies, emphasizing that many of their previous promises remain unfulfilled.

Furthermore, He criticises the NPP’s newly formed 11-member committee for their manifesto launch on August 18, 2024, in Takoradi, cautioning that the party will likely make more empty promises.

Moreover, Mahama advises Ghanaians to be cautious, stating, “

“This is a government full of lies and empty promises. they will launch their manifesto of lies, promising more things they won’t deliver. They say the first fool isn’t a fool, the second fool isn’t a fool—who’s the third fool? The third fool is the real fool. They promised one child, one egg, one child, one chocolate—all lies.”

Mahama consequently concludes by asserting that Ghana truly needs an experienced leader who has previously governed the country and has a proven track record.
