The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has committed to instituting an annual national day of prayer and thanksgiving.
In a statement released by Campaign Spokesperson Mahama emphasised that the goal is to unite people of all faiths seeking divine guidance for Ghana.
He added that the importance of thanksgiving and drawing on biblical teachings will draw God’s blessings and prosperity to the nation, stressing that acknowledging God’s past interventions is key to receiving future favours.
