Ghanaian gospel musician Perez Musik has emphasised that the journey to salvation is unique to each individual, shaped by their own transformative experiences.
In an interview on HITZ FM, the singer shared that after engaging in various worldly activities, including smoking, a life-changing event led him to a better path.
“It all started with a heartbreak. Andy, don’t laugh at me. At the time, it was really painful. I’ve never told this story before, but I’ll share it without naming anyone. Someone in the industry was pursuing my girlfriend.
I brought her to my office, and while I wasn’t looking, he took her number. Soon, they were talking. This person was supposed to be my close friend. That’s why I don’t really make friends anymore,” he revealed.
Perez further recounted another incident with the same friend, who handed him a phone to make a call.
“On the screen, I saw my girlfriend’s picture. “Instantly I handed the phone back, and went home without saying a word,” he recalled.
