Ghanaian forward Inaki Williams celebrated a significant milestone, marking 10 years with Spanish club Athletic Bilbao.
Williams expressed his gratitude and pride on social media, writing, “10 years fulfilling a dream. Remember where you started and where you are. Thank you all for joining me.”
After progressing through Bilbao’s youth academy, Williams made his senior debut under Ernesto Valverde on December 6, 2014, in a La Liga match against Cordoba. Since then, he has consistently delivered crucial performances, establishing himself as a key player for the club.
Known for his hard work and durability, Williams set a La Liga record with 251 consecutive appearances, surpassing Juan Antonio Larranaga’s previous record of 202. This achievement highlights his unwavering consistency and reliability.
Williams has also made an impressive start to the 2024/25 La Liga season, contributing seven goals and assists in just 15 matches.
