The chiefs and people of Nogokpo have come out to say they will use Agyin Asare as a scapegoat if he fails to show up at their shrine within the issued 14-days.
Over the week, the authorities of Nogokpo in the Ketu South District in the Volta Region issued a summons of 14-days ultimatum for the appearance of the Perez Chapel leader and founder after he had made a seemly damning utterance about the town.
In an eyewitness news carried by citi TV, Nufialaga Mawufemor Korbla Nontibgey, the convener of the town issued a warning to the Christian priest;
“We have given him a 14-day ultimatum. If he wants to do the needful, he should come. If he doesn’t want to, he should refuse. If he is mature enough, he should do what is needful. If Agyinasare doesn’t do the needful, we will make him a scapegoat.”
