Aspiring flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah, is championing the adoption of a Ghanaian language as a key driver of sustainable national development.
In a recent interview, Mornah stated that if elected president, he would establish Twi and Hausa as the official national languages of Ghana while keeping English as an optional language.
Further, he emphasised the direct link between language and development, pointing to countries like Japan, China, Korea, and Russia, which have achieved significant progress by using a national language.
Additionally, Mornah asserted that no nation can truly develop without a national language, underscoring his commitment to this policy for Ghana.
