Ghanaian highlife artist Kuami Eugene has shared that he still faces criticism for his feature on Sarkodie’s song ‘Happy Day.’
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Kuami explain that, although the song was release four years ago, many fans continue to hold it against him.
“I’m still dealing with the backlash from that feature. I’m not sure how I ended up on the chorus, but after hearing Sarkodie’s first verse, the song went in that direction. Now, I constantly have to explain that I was not involve in turning it into an NPP song,” he said.
Further, Kuami expressed his disappointment, stating that his initial conversation with Sarkodie had no political agenda, but the song later took on a political tone.
“I still face criticism, with people often asking, ‘Don’t you know Mahama built UGMC?”He added
