Gospel musician Piesie Esther has emphasised that she focuses on her career instead of responding to social media trolls.
During an interview on 3FM Drive, she explained her decision to avoid engaging with negative online comments.
“I’ve noticed that some people are paid to post these comments just to bring you down. It’s baffling why they criticise when you’re simply working and promoting your craft. So, I choose not to bother myself. I let it go and stay focused on my work,” she stated.
The Waye Mi Yie singer also addressed concerns about female gospel musicians prioritising fashion more than in the past. She defended the trend, saying,
“There’s absolutely nothing wrong with gospel artists, especially women, dressing well. It attracts attention and draws people closer to you. You don’t need to expose your body, but looking good matters because how you dress is how people perceive you.”
Further, Piesie Esther revealed she has released her latest song, *At33ne,* in October 2024, describing it as a reflection of God’s faithfulness in her life.
