The Minister-Designate for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has pledged to focus on developing tourist destinations like Mole National Park in the Savannah Region.
During her vetting before Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, she stressed the importance of strategic investments to enhance the appeal of key tourist sites.
“Mole has long been one of the most visited places, but it requires more investment,” she said. “Our country must direct more resources into this sector to attract the necessary funding. I am pledge to pushing this agenda forward.”
Additionally, she spoke about the Black Star Experience initiative, which aims to empower local assemblies to lead arts, tourism, and cultural projects, thereby stimulating local economies.
