President John Dramani Mahama assured the business community that Ghana is ready to welcome investments to drive growth and prosperity.
In his inaugural speech, he emphasised Ghana’s important role in the global economy and confirmed his administration’s commitment to revitalising the economy through reforms and policies designed to attract both local and foreign investments.
“I pledge to create a business-friendly environment. I invite business leaders and entrepreneurs to embrace this new approach and help shape an environment where your investments contribute to the nation’s prosperity. Your role in advancing our economy is essential,”.
Further, he also acknowledged the challenges businesses have faced in recent years and pledged that his government would focus on stability, predictability, and creating an investor-friendly atmosphere to foster economic growth.
“Your innovation and dedication will drive our success. I promise to review and streamline the tax system to make it more transparent and fair. To the business community, I assure you that Ghana is open for business once again,” he concluded.
