Head pastor of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, shared his experiences of feeling pride after performing deliverance services in a video circulating on the internet .
He recounted that early in his ministry, he was blessed with the ability to boot out demons.
He said:
“ As a young man, I often took credit for these spiritual feats, overlooking divine influence.
“I remember when I began ministry. Most of the time, as some of the bishops can tell you, there were all kinds of manifestations in the church, with demons screaming and shouting.
As a young preacher, I used to feel very good about that, until the Lord dealt with me and I realised that the demons are not manifesting because I’m anointed.
Addressing his congregation, Duncan-Williams revealed that divine intervention taught him the importance of crediting God for ministry accomplishment.
It has nothing to do with how anointed you are. We often take pride in little things, but we don’t even realise it
