Asantewaa, a Tiktok sensation from Ghana, has exclusively revealed why she no longer actively promotes music on her many social media channels as she once did.
In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, Asantewaa claimed that because her brand is now well-known and she charges more, most singers cannot afford her services.
During the interview, Asantewaa emphasized that she wouldn’t accept payment for these services, even if she were given GHC 10,000.
Later, she admitted that even though some musicians continue to contact her management to request her services, she no longer entertains them since they lack the necessary funds.
Remember how boasted a few months ago that a song would only get popular in the modern era if they [TikTokers] were paid to promote it on their platforms.
She asserted that TikTok song promotion is now standard procedure and that artists should follow suit if they want the general public to hear their music.
