Earlier yesterday, Chief Alpharian Pastor Elvis Agyemang was chastised after a picture of his financial officers counting large sums of money after a church service went viral.
The founder of the Grace Mountain Ministry has been accused of using the name of God and the Bible to extort money from his church members.
Some financial officers of the Alpha Hour clan were busy counting heavy offertory which was collected during one of their church services in this particular picture, which has raised eyebrows and received mixed reactions from the populace (s).
Well, the man of God who has been hurt by the heavy accusations of using God’s name to extort money from vulnerable people has finally broken his silence about the whole thing.
In a sermon to his congregation, the man of God revealed for the first time that he has never spent a penny of the tithes and offerings he receives.
All of the money he receives from the congregation, according to the man of God, is later returned to society.
The man of God went on to explain that he pays hundreds of orphans’ school fees, gives monthly allowances to numerous widows, and helps many financially struggling families.
When asked how he survives without touching any of the offerings or tithes, he stated that his elder sister always gives him a portion of her monthly salary, which he relies on to feed himself and his family.
