Ghanaian TikTok star Akonoba, whose real name is Kelvin Sampane Addo, expressed that he does not enjoy dressing as a woman.
In a recent interview, he noted that although it was difficult at first, his mother now accepts that this path leads to his success. He emphasized that negative comments from others do not affect him because he earns a living through cross-dressing and that those who criticize his content do not contribute to his livelihood, rendering their opinions irrelevant.
“Content creation sustains me and pays my bills, allowing me to provide for my family. The criticism of my dressing and makeup will not deter me from pursuing what ensures my financial stability,” Akonoba affirmed.
He further explained that he has secured endorsements and brand ambassadorships through his social media presence, which supports his lifestyle. “No one else feeds me or pays my bills except through my content creation,” he added.
