Akua GMB, CEO of Groupe Jay N Jay, had revealed that technical challenges led her to close her CCTV business.
In an interview, she explained that the product’s reliance on internet connectivity proved difficult for many less tech-savvy customers, with frequent complaints about connectivity and data requirements making the business unsustainable.
“I introduced the Ring system to the Ghanaian market, but its dependency on the internet posed challenges, “Customers often lacked sufficient data, leading to issues that made the cameras difficult for them to use effectively.”she noted.
She added that the CCTV system allowed individuals to monitor their homes remotely.
