Renowned gospel artist Broda Sammy has revealed his willingness to preach at bars and nightclubs if invited instead of the churches.
In an interview on TV3’s Showbiz 360, Broda Sammy highlighted his inclusive attitude, saying,
“I do not judge people as non-believers and refuse to work with them. They are simply people like us. I don’t discriminate.”
According to the gospel musician, his experiences of being turned away from various churches drove him to seek other venues to spread the gospel.
“For instance, at church, everyone is there for the gospel, but people in nightclubs are not; that’s where I aim to reach souls,” he said.
He questioned why Christians preach in markets but avoid nightclubs, suggesting that evangelism strategies need to evolve.
“Christians should rethink how they share the gospel. If pastors could preach in markets before, why not in bars or nightclubs?
“ I am eager to perform at these locations, believing that this will effectively reach those who might not attend church.”
