The former Central Regional Chairman for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has announced his retirement from politics following the December 7th election.
Speaking on Peace FM, Jacobs declared that once he votes for Dr. Bawumia, he will retire from active politics.
He stated, “After voting, I have retired. Once I give this thumb to Dr. Bawumia, I am done. I will no longer be in active politics. I am going home on retirement. I will go and attend to my piggery and other businesses.”
Furthermore, Jacobs urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP’s flagbearer in the upcoming election, expressing his belief that Dr. Bawumia is the best leader for Ghana.
On several occasions, he has openly endorsed Dr. Bawumia as the next president of Ghana.
