Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy has recently announced his invitation to perform at a National Democratic Congress (NDC) rally in Kawukudi ahead of the December 7, 2024.
In an interview on Hitz FM, the award-winning musician shared that, although he hadn’t spoken directly with the party, he was informed of the invitation. He is now evaluating the offer, taking into account the financial terms.
“I receive calls from various political parties to perform. The latest one is from the NDC. We’re reviewing the fee, and if all goes well, I’ll perform for my fans and invest some of the proceeds into my upcoming BHIM Festival,” he explained.
Further, Stonebwoy emphasised his dedication to promoting peace and unity through his performances, regardless of the political platform.
“As the elections approach, my focus is on ensuring a peaceful process. Whether I’m performing for the NDC, NPP, or CPP, my message remains the same—peace. Ghana comes first, and in the end, we must all stand united as one nation,” he concluded.
