Captain Smart, a renowned Ghanaian journalist and political analyst who used to be a fervent NPP supporter, has openly admitted on live television that he regrets advocating for and supporting Nana Addo.
According to the controversial media man, Nana Addo was able to deceive and win him to his side by earlier posing as a man of integrity.
Captain Smart, a thorn in Nana Addo’s side ever since the start of his second term as president, lashed out at the majority in parliament for manipulating Ghanaians’ minds in a statement on ONUA TV this morning.
Recall that the majority speaker of the parliament said a month ago that Ken Ofori would no longer serve as the country’s finance minister.
But when Ken was ordered to leave the ministry of finance, the majority of lawmakers left the chamber.
The first minister to face a vote of censure was Ken Afori Atta, who will be remembered in history for this.
Captain Smart called the Akufo-led NPP administration the worst to rule the nation at any time in its history, sounding both hurt and appalled.
The purchase of cement sacks to aid in the construction of the national cathedral was also regretted, he added.
Captain Smart has criticized Nana Addo, Ken Ofori Atta, and the NPP party as a whole before, and it is unlikely that this is the last time.
