High Court Issues Warrant For the Arrest of Ghanaian Controversial Socialite, Afia Schwar
According to information at hand, Afia Schwar has been found guilty of defaming Chairman Wontumi and has been given a 10-day prison sentence by the High Court “B” Tema.
The court also found United Showbiz anchor Nana Ama McBrown and her panelists Kwame A Plus and Mr Logic in contempt of court for opposing Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, in a court suit.
The defendants have been ordered to pay the applicant GHS5,000, while Afia Schwar has been penalised GHS5,000 penalty units (GHS60,000).
Afia Schwar has a bench warrant out for her arrest.
