Popular Ghanaian actor John Bredu Peasah, popularly known for his iconic role as Drogba in the hit series YOLO, will be continuing his medical treatment for his demyelinating disease abroad.
Updating fans on his condition, Drogba expressed gratitude for the support he has received since his diagnosis.
On Instagram, he wrote, “I want to thank everyone who has supported me thus far. Thank you for your concern and support.”
“As I have been referred for further treatment overseas, I look forward to your continued support to help me get the necessary care for this neurological condition I’m facing,” he added.
In March of this year, the actor was diagnosed with a life-threatening demyelinating disease. A statement revealed that Drogba had been battling the disease for over two years.
Dr. Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer, along with friends of Drogba, visited the actor to show their support and help with donations for his treatment.
He has since sought assistance to successfully undergo treatment.
