Ghanaian Actor Albert Odartei Jackson-Davis Passes Away

Veteran Ghanaian actor and creative Albert Odartei Jackson-Davis has passed away following a prolonged illness.

According to reports, his death was confirm by Akunu Dake, CEO of Heritage Development and a close friend, in a heartfelt Facebook tribute.

In the post, Dake shared a photo of them together, reminiscing about their enduring friendship and collaboration, particularly during the 1990s Panafest.

“This is a deep loss for me. Rest in peace, my dear friend and colleague Albert Odartei Jackson-Davis, our devoted Deputy Executive Director during those PANAFEST years,” he expressed.

Many admired Jackson Davis for his commanding screen presence, often in roles as influential figures. Audiences remember him best for his performances in Beasts of No Nation (2015), The Storm (2024), My Very Ghanaian Wedding (2017), and Chasing Lullaby.
