The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has refuted claims that it is pursuing Malik Basintale, the Deputy Communications Director of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In a statement issued on Thursday, the police firmly declared that these allegations are false and urged the public to disregard the rumors.
This denial addresses recent social media rumors suggesting that the police want Basintale.
