The Ghana Police Service has arrested 89 individuals for various offences committed during the 2024 general elections.
In a statement, the police updated the public, revealing that they have linked 40 suspects to vandalism, looting, and property destruction. As a result, authorities will take legal action against all suspects, who will appear in court.
Further, the police issued a stern warning, urging the public to refrain from violent behavior. They stated that authorities will arrest and prosecute those responsible according to the law.
These arrests are part of the security measures the police have implemented to maintain peace, security, and order after the elections.
