GFA To Engage Stakeholders On Black Stars Coach’s Future

Written by Sarah Boye

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has decided to engage stakeholders to determine the future of Black Stars head coach Otto Addo.

In a statement after a recent meeting, the GFA acknowledged the nation’s frustration with the team’s poor performance and emphasised the need for immediate improvements, especially in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

“The Executive Council and Regional Football Chairmen voiced their dissatisfaction with the Head Coach and reaffirmed Ghana’s collective goal of qualifying for the World Cup. This calls for better results in the qualifying matches,” the statement said.

This decision follows a technical review meeting on Wednesday, November 27, after Ghana failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
