Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has asserted that the GFA is the most transparent sports organisation in the country.
During his address to the Parliamentary Select Committee on Sports on September 30, 2024, Okraku emphasised that the GFA has undergone continuous audits by CAF and FIFA over the past five years.
“I have served in office for just under eight years, with five of those years impacted by COVID. We maintain public financial records that CAF and FIFA have audited continuously for five years, and Bakertilly Andah + Andah conducts our audits,” he added.
Further, Mr Okraku also highlighted the GFA’s strong collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in managing national team affairs.
“We are the most transparent sports organisation you can find in Ghana, and we have worked closely with the Ministry of Youth and Sports on all matters concerning national team activities,” he concluded.
