The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that the organisation is awaiting decisions from CAF following inspections of the Accra and Cape Coast stadiums.

During the #SaveGhanaFootball hearing before Parliament’s Sports Select Committee on Monday, September 30, GFA President Kurt Okraku explained that the final decision regarding the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier matches now rests with CAF.

“Mr. Chairman, we are waiting for CAF. We have done the hard work, and now we await their response. Our experts have conducted the inspections, but I will refrain from commenting on their report until CAF makes an announcement,” he stated.

This follows inspections conducted by CAF officials over the weekend at the request of the GFA and Ghana’s Ministry of Youth and Sports.
