Nigerian music star Wizkid has revealed that he initially had a passion for football, considering it a backup plan before his music career took off.
In a recent interview, the Grammy-winning artist shared his early enthusiasm for the sport, which began during his school days when he was on the football team.
Although he valued football and understood its demands, Wizkid admitted that his impatience and dislike for early morning training led him to pursue music instead.
Reflecting on his journey, he acknowledged that, despite his football skills, his personality and preferences made music a more suitable path.
