Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwesi Nyantakyi has openly criticised GFA President Kurt Okraku, pointing to the ongoing struggles in Ghanaian football.
In an interview, Nyantakyi voiced his concerns after the Black Stars failed to qualify for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco, ending the qualification phase without a single win.
“Football is like pregnancy; when something is wrong, everyone can see it. Kurt Okraku’s administration is not doing well, and that’s the reality. I don’t know the exact issue, but it’s evident that things are not going right,” he stated.
This failure marks the first time in 20 years that Ghana will miss the continental championship, following back-to-back group-stage exits in the previous two editions.
